The Thai Film Foundation and Ateliers Varan launch a call for applications for a documentary filmmaking workshop, supported by the Department of Cultural Promotion of the Ministry of Culture, the French Embassy in Thailand, the Italian Cultural Institute in Bangkok and Nang Loeng’s community.

An intensive, free training program for Thailand’s emerging documentary talent, scheduled for the summer of 2026 will take place in the Nang Loeng neighbourhood in Bangkok.

This project was created in response to the growing number of young Thais who want to express their views on social issues but lack the structures and concrete spaces to develop their skills.
