Synopsis
One day in May, the workers of the Catacombs of Paris decide to go on strike. One of the most touristic places in the city becomes a site of struggle. Between the management, the trade unions and the colleagues, this small group that is organising for the first time, tries to remain welded while crossing several conflicts.
Director' s comments
In the « social movement » of the spring of 2018, the Catacombes step out of the undergrounds and take the streets to organise. Meanwhile, tourists keep coming and the management continue to sell tickets online. We wanted to show how a strike is done; how it is maintained from a day to day and how it evolves over time. To obtain better working conditions, the struggle is to know: until when? for how long should one go on?
