Career
French director
After a degree in literature and journalism at Strasbourg University, Elisabth became a film editor from 1975 to 1985. She among others, had the opportunity to work with French documentary pioneer Jean Rouch.
In 1981, together with Jacques d'Arthuys, the Blanchet brothers and others, she founded the Ateliers Varan, of which she is a member. She took part in the Varan workshop in Mexico in 1981, in Nairobi in Kenya with Jean Noël Cristiani in 1982, and then in the one in Tbilisi in Georgia in 2006. Since the 1980s, she has directed a number of documentaries and a few short fiction films.
