Synopsis
The Talibans didn’t like music any more than they liked women. Under their regime, music was specifically banned. Today, in Kharabat, the musician's quarter, music is having a revival. Shoaibullah and Obaidullah, two brothers aged 13 and 14, sing and play tabla and harmonium. Their whole family lives from the income they make. From birthdays to wedding parties, nights are short but they cherish the hope of one day becoming famous musicians.
