Synopsis
Hissa is an atypical Japanese Chef and has set up his restaurant-laboratory in a discreet street in the XVth district of Paris. In his open kitchen, he passionately improvises a kind of gastronomy that first strikes us esthetically. His compositions are ephemeral works of art which nourish the soul as much as the body. When he has finished the service, he swaps his knife for a paintbrush and retires into the back kitchen where, lit by an electric light bulb, he comes face to face with his canvas where he attempts to prolong his artistry.
